What we collect

When you use our booking form, call, email or WhatsApp us, or ask for a quote, we may collect:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Postcode and/or property address
• Details of the job or service you're enquiring about
• Any other information you choose to give us in your message

If we go on to carry out work for you, we also hold invoicing details (billing address, and — where relevant — company name and VAT status) needed to raise an invoice.

When you browse our website, our analytics and advertising tools (see our Cookie Policy) may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you interact with the site.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Respond to enquiries and provide quotes
• Arrange, carry out and invoice for handyman work you've booked
• Communicate with you about a job (e.g. confirming arrival times)
• Keep records for accounting, tax and legal purposes
• Understand how visitors use our website and improve it
• Measure the effectiveness of our advertising (Google Ads), where you've consented to marketing cookies

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we don't use it for marketing emails or texts unless you've separately agreed to that.

• Our handymen, so they know where and when a job is happening and what it involves
• Our accounting software provider (QuickBooks/Intuit), to raise and manage invoices
• Our website and marketing platforms (Duda, Google, StoreYa, Connect SEO UK), for hosting the site and running advertising
• HMRC or other authorities, where we're legally required to

We don't share your information with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, and job/invoicing records for six years, in line with standard UK tax record-keeping requirements. If you enquire but no job goes ahead, we'll delete your details within a reasonable period unless you ask us to keep them on file for future work.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information, where there's no legal reason for us to keep it
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent at any time, where we're relying on consent (e.g. cookies)
